Hello friends! I have the privilege of serving as the Director of Ignite 2024! My primary role is to cast vision for the organization and to encourage the executive team to pursue their roles with passion. I provide a direction and the rest of staff makes the magic happen.

hunter samra | Assistant Director

My job as Ignite’s Assistant Director is to manage all legal and administrative matters involved in running Ignite. I support other exec team members in their projects to ensure that everyone’s ideas come together to support Ignite’s mission in the best way possible.

ABBY KOYLE | Retreat coordinator

My job as Retreat Coordinator is to manage logistics and schedule all Ignite retreats, with a focus on our August Retreat for incoming UT and ACC students. I strive to plan a retreat that will make every camper feel comfortable and welcomed into the body of Christ in Austin. Additionally, I help lead Crew Team, who works behind-the-scenes to allow retreat to run smoothly.

JERRI do | Finance exec

As the Financial Development Executive, I am responsible for managing and distributing funds for Ignite Texas. I ensure campers and staff are able to bear the fruit of Ignite Texas without financial burden. I work with Community Development to acquire financial support from our communities!

JUJU murillo | community Development Exec

As the Community Development Executive, I get to develop Ignite’s major internal and external relationships through communication and event planning. I am responsible for leading Ignite’s diversity and inclusion efforts and planning events such as Snowball, Family & Alumni Weekend, and other staff events throughout the year!

gaby goonetilleke & david oancea | Training Execs

Our job as Training Execs is to lead the Training Team, made up of co-chair and prayer team trainers, in meetings and train them to lead their meetings with their co-chairs and prayer team. We oversee all of Ignite’s staff, and we make sure that our staff is equipped and prepared for camp in August.

eric goode | Ministry Exec

My job as Ignite’s Ministry Exec is to strengthen relationships between Ignite Texas and UT campus ministries and churches in the Austin area. I run the annual Church and Ministry Fair at retreat and organize an event called ServeOps (Ignite staff is sent to various organizations for a mass half-day of volunteering).

brooke butler | Marketing Exec

As Marketing Exec, I am responsible for managing Ignite’s brand and publicizing Ignite with the goal of reaching incoming UT freshmen. This includes analyzing past years’ data in order to market effectively, coordinating promotional campaigns across our multiple social media platforms, and building relationships with parents, churches, youth groups, and high schools across Texas.

cora moore | Media Exec

My job as Media Exec is to manage the creation of content that Ignite uses online, in meetings, and at events. I lead a talented media team who will be creating photos, videos, graphics, and merchandise, as well as posting to social media and coordinating worship events!
