When does Ignite registration open? keyboard_arrow_down
We will open registration on March 1, 2018!
Where and when do we meet? keyboard_arrow_down
Check-in will begin in the afternoon on Wednesday, August 8th (Session 1) or Saturday, August 11th (Session 2). The specific location and time of day will be determined by the time registration opens.
When will Ignite end? keyboard_arrow_down
Campers will return to Austin by 1:00 on Saturday, August 11th (Session 1) or by 1:00 on Tuesday, August 14th (Session 2).
What do I need to bring? keyboard_arrow_down
A packing list will be posted when registration opens on March 1, 2018!
What sort of things will we do at camp? keyboard_arrow_down
During camp we will have camp-wide sessions, Big Camp Time, and small groups every morning and night. There will also be an evening prayer and worship session, Late Night with Ignite, Camp Olympics and the Ministry Fair. Bring clothes you can get dirty and wet for Camp Olympics because it will be hot (this is Texas after all). We may also have some free time in the afternoon where you can play disc golf or go to the Highland Lakes pool.
What is the Ministry and Church Fair? keyboard_arrow_down
Ignite hosts a Ministry and Church Fair during retreat to give campers the opportunity to interact with local churches and Christian organizations. The goal is to help them get plugged into the body of Christ in Austin!

Does Ignite conflict with sorority recruitment? keyboard_arrow_down
Nope! Recruitment begins after the conclusion of both sessions of Ignite Texas. Many women on our staff are also members of sororities.
What if I have allergies, disabilities, or medical concerns? keyboard_arrow_down
We are able to accommodate most allergy, disability, and medical concerns. Please list all relevant concerns in their respective fields on the registration form when you sign up for camp.
What if I’m not going to UT? keyboard_arrow_down
Ignite is not just for UT students; any entering college student looking to get connected to the Christian community in Austin is welcome at camp! If you will be attending another college in Austin and are interested in coming to Ignite, please email Matt Stone at firstname.lastname@example.org.
