RETREAT 2026

Ignite Texas is a four-day retreat that connects incoming UT and ACC freshmen and transfer students to Christian community at The University of Texas and throughout Austin. This retreat provides students with friends and community before arriving to campus and also gives them the tools they need to seek spiritual growth during their time in Austin.

Session Availability

Ignite Texas hosts two sessions for retreat in 2026: Session 1 is August 2-5 & Session 2 is August 5-8.

Neither session of Ignite Texas conflicts with other UT events, including sorority recruitment, Longhorn Band auditions, and "Mooov-In" to the dorms.

Session 1 (August 2-5, 2025)

Check-in begins on August 2nd at 1:30 PM at Austin Oaks Church (4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd, Austin, TX 78749). Buses will leave the church for the campground at 2:45 PM. If you drive yourself to Austin, you will be able to leave your car parked in the church parking lot for the duration of your session. Campers will be brought back to Austin Oaks Church on August 5 by 1:00 PM.

Session 2 (August 5-8, 2025)

Check-in begins on August 5th at 1:30 PM at Austin Oaks Church (4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd, Austin, TX 78749). Buses will leave the church for the campground at 2:45 PM. If you drive yourself to Austin, you will be able to leave your car parked in the church parking lot for the duration of your session. Campers will be brought back to Austin Oaks Church on August 8 by 1:00 PM.

Additional Information

The ticket price includes a $50 non-refundable deposit and covers the cost of all retreat activities and food, if you are no longer able to attend retreat, you may email Erin at financial@ignitetexas.org to cancel your registration and receive a refund for the ticket cost minus the $50 deposit.
