Ignite Texas is a four-day retreat that connects incoming UT and ACC freshmen and transfer students to Christian community at The University of Texas and throughout Austin. This retreat provides students with friends and community before arriving to campus and also gives them the tools they need to seek spiritual growth during their time in Austin.

Session 1 (August 2-5, 2025)

Check-in begins on August 2nd at 1:30 PM at Austin Oaks Church (4220 Monterey Oaks Blvd, Austin, TX 78749). Buses will leave the church for the campground at 2:45 PM. If you drive yourself to Austin, you will be able to leave your car parked in the church parking lot for the duration of your session. Campers will be brought back to Austin Oaks Church on August 5 by 1:00 PM.

Session 2 (August 5-8, 2025)

If you drive yourself to Austin, you will be able to leave your car parked in the church parking lot for the duration of your session. Either Session

If you have no strong preference about either session and choose this option, we will automatically assign you to a session based on our current needs. YYou will be notified via email no later than July 27. If you have any questions in the meantime, please reach out to retreatcoordinator@ignitetexas.org

Additional Information

The ticket price includes a $50 non-refundable deposit and covers the cost of all retreat activities and food, if you are no longer able to attend retreat, you may email Erin at financial@ignitetexas.org to cancel your registration and receive a refund for the ticket cost minus the $50 deposit.
