This year, I am serving as the Director of Ignite. My primary role is to cast vision for the organization and to spur on the executive team to pursue their roles with passion. I provide a direction and the rest of staff makes the magic happen.
My job as Ignite’s Assistant Director is to manage all legal and administrative matters involved in running Ignite. I am the liaison to our retreat speaker, band, and campground administrators, and I support other exec team members in their projects to ensure that everyone’s ideas come together to support Ignite’s mission in the best way possible.

Tim Barber | Financial Exec
As Ignite's Financial Exec, I am responsible for managing our budget. This includes processing payments and donations, making sure the money we have is being used wisely, and handling camper fees and scholarships.
As the Development Executive, I am responsible for the fundraising for Ignite. I get to handle the major outside relationships with businesses and parents! I plan Family & Alumni Weekend, Snowball, and Support Letters.
Our job as Training Execs is to lead the Training Team, made up of co-chair and prayer team trainers, in meetings and train them to lead their meetings with their co-chairs and prayer team. We oversee all of Ignite’s staff, and we make sure that our staff is equipped and prepared for camp in August.

Corrin Alanis | Ministry Exec
My job as Ignite’s Ministry Exec is to form new and strengthen existing relationships between Ignite and ministries and churches at UT and the Austin area. I organize and run the annual camp Ministry and Church Fair for both sessions, and organize fall and spring Project Serve that sends Ignite staff to various organizations for a mass half-day of volunteering.

Vanessa Zielinski | Marketing Exec
As Marketing Exec, I am responsible for managing Ignite’s brand and publicizing Ignite with the goal of reaching more incoming UT freshmen. This includes analyzing past years’ data in order to market more effectively, coordinating promotion and campaigns on our multiple social media platforms, and building relationships with parents, churches, youth groups, and high schools across Texas.

Chris Gaschen | Media Exec
My job as Media Exec is to manage the creation of content that Ignite uses online, in meetings, and at events. I lead a talented media team who will be creating photos, videos, graphics, and merchandise, as well as posting to social media and working on the monthly newsletter!
I am Junior majoring in architecture and minoring in business at UT! I enjoy exploring the beautiful city of Austin and creating art!
